A woman haunted by her past and a killer who won’t let her forget.
‘A long, long time ago, you did a bad, bad thing, Now it’s time to pay…’
When I first found the note, I assumed it was a prank.
But then I am lured to a house where I witness a gruesome murder, and I realise the threat is real.
But who is tormenting me though, and why?
Noah Keen, my boyfriend, is determined to get to the bottom of things, and soon other familiar faces appear from my past. Ones who are connected to a tragic accident that happened when we were teenagers. They too have received similar notes.
Someone knows the truth about what really happened that night in Norfolk.
Someone believes we were responsible and they will not stop until every one of us has been punished.
The perfect read for fans of authors like Clare Mackintosh, Cara Hunter, and Paula Hawkins.

What I started reading deciding I would only read 2 chapters a day, slowly made me binge read and complete the book. Till the killer is identified, I couldn’t rest.A simple story, with a scary past, bringing spooking incidents in the present, making you understand that past has lot of connections to the present.True to the title, never trust anybody that easily. The murderer gave us jitters, ofcourse the effect of what the murderer has undergone softens my mind too. At the end I understood the first chapter meaning, and who was to be burned.Olivia, Noah characters are well sketched. Fern though portrayed as Villi at the end is not. One moment indulging in a prank kills a beautiful person.Hats off to the author, who never gave even a moment away this person could be the murderer. Instead put us on the path of guessing.A must read thriller story.

I enjoyed the book. Reading this book was like watching a thriller movie. A bit predictable though. Not the best one of Keri Beevis, but i hope the best of her is yet to come. Haven’t read other books of her. Thinking of buying them .

Starting with the way the author connects the story, it’s really good. You feel like you are figuring out the mystery but no you are not. Though you do manage to figure out the killer by the time you reach the ending chapters, author feeds you more surprises. Pick out a dark chilly night and start the book!

Trust ME! It’s FANTASTIC!!!!
Trust No One?.. Well you can trust Keri Beevis to write an absolutely fabulous book!!!Olivia Blake, single, employed at an estate agents and lives in her own large, isolated home with her friend, Molly, and her cute cat, Luna. Why is she being threatened?! From a loving, respectable home, kind Olivia goes through her days without any drama, so why is she being targeted?!I liked Olivia and I felt for her – her ex longterm partner doing the dirty on her and a drip Jeremy giving her a bit of grief at work, she didn’t deserve that, never mind some psycho on the loose having a pop at her.8 Honington Lane is where it starts, or so it seems, and I was totally hooked!I liked Noah Keen, Olivia’s boyfriend, he protected her and yet Olivia becomes suspicious of him… I would, anyone would… You don’t know what you’ve done wrong, you begin to suspect everyone around you because you become paranoid. Who do you trust?!The setting was perfect for the story, Norfolk, out in the sticks, you think that your safe, but you’re not.Olivia isn’t alone in being threatened, but how are Olivia and the others connected? This story has a real creepiness, which I loved, and I was also suspicious of everyone. The author shows her talent, her imagination, how her writing gets under your skin and unnerves you. In a good way, though. I didn’t want to stop reading this book until I’d finished it, it is that gripping. I didn’t have to wait long for more victims to appear and as the story went on, I became more suspicious of one person in particular. I have said before that some books should be made into a drama or a film and this book is one of them. I can’t think of one negative thing about this book. Only, that I wish that I could read it again for the first time. The ending was superb, but then, so is the whole story. This is my first book by this author and already, she has been added to my ‘don’t need to read the synopsis before I read the book,’ favourite authors. The author’s writing and plotting is impeccable.Thank you, to the author, for keeping me entertained and in doing so, helping me to forget my physical pain and my mind off the bad things going on in the world right now.

A very very good read.
I really enjoyed this book once again it’s another twisty turny book of which way it’s going for it to only turn in another direction. I am very cautious about what I have to say in my review as I do not want to put anything in that will spoil the book. All I will say thankful it’s not a spoiler the character Noah is most definitely a bloody idiot like most men. Now for you to understand that you will have to read the book then you will understand what I mean. It’s a cracking book and definitely needs to be read to appreciate it. Only that can explain everything the synopsis and my comment about Noah. What I like about any good book is it takes you into the book as if you are part of it. This one took me in and I felt part of it. I certainly didn’t expect the epilogue. Oh how I wish I had the answers for that little piece bloody brilliant a must must read
